Afro Pop Star , Speedy to Land TV Role
By Sgubhu , 14 Jun 2008Speedy, the former Bongo Maffin member, best known for his sexy vocal cords, will join South Africa’s soap “ Generations” being cast as Eddie, Ajax Khoza (Psyfo)’s manager in the show. The Afro Pop singer says he found it difficult to switch between acting and music:
‘It feels good to be part of the Generations’ family,’ said Speedy.
‘I hope I won’t disappoint my fans.’
This is Speedy’s second try at being a TV star. His first try saw him cast on youth soap “Backstage”. He has also made his big screen debut in a movie called “Hjack Sories”.
