Sgonondo Behind Bars (just for a little)
By adapted from the Sunday World , 07 Jul 2008Kwaito artist Sgonondo spent some hours behind bars after assaulting his girlfriend.
It is alleged the couple were sitting on the veranda of his condo when the Amadragon hitmaker accused his girlfriend, Buhle Khoza, of being a “dizzy moon” (a loose woman), report the Sunday World.
A heated argument erupted and Sgonondo, real name Jamela Vuma, stormed into the house, yanked open a wardrobe door and started throwing Khoza’s belongings out of the house.
Sgonondo then ordered her to voetsek.
It is alleged that while she was picking up her belongings he accused her of being a floozy.
After his tirade the Amadragon hit-maker assaulted her with open hands in full view of the onlookers.
Khoza rushed to the Midrand Police Station, where she reported the matter.
Police spokesman Captain Martin Hulk confirms they are investigating a case of domestic violence against Sgonondo.
Hulk says he “spent some time in the police holding cells and was released on a warning”.
Sgonondo has previously been involved in a public spat with a Jozi man Neo Masilo. Masilo had threatened to “bliksem” Sgonondo for stealing Khoza.
