MangestoNkosana Mangena, better known as Mangesto has been nominated for the Southern African Archivers’ Awards.
Working under his record label, Leyza Music, Mangesto was the first artist to release a kwaito album in the UK, back in 2004. He immediately followed his first album with the release of a 11 track, pure kwaito, album entitled Ezami (My Own). The album was an instant hit and earned him praises from artists like Mzekezeke.
Mangesto is yet to release what is set to be his third and best album yet, a 15 track house album which includes the hit singles “No Dance” and “Ubuyile”. The singles have already got revellers excited and filling the dance floors all over the UK, a sure sign that this album will be a hit.
“The high quality of beats and music coming from Leyza music hasn’t gone unnoticed.”
