Kid X’s “3 Quarter Pace” Tops Half A Million Downlaods

Kid X, one of SA’s most celebrated rappers made history when his mixtape titled 3 Quarter Pace broke the internet when it became the first mixtape in SA to do 500,000 downloads in a week!

Dropped on his birthday October 13th and in less than 2 months, 3 Quarter Pace is currently sitting on 631496 downloads (and counting). The mixtape which was originally released as a free download has since been released for retail on iTunes (27 November), and it debuted at #2 on the iTunes Hip Hop charts and is still in the top 5 most selling albums on the platform.
