He has been mesmerising soccer fans on the pitch for years, now Jabu Mahlangu is out to thrill kwaito fans with his new found talent, music.
that”s it
On stage he will wish to be called Shuffle, following on the CD he is cutting called The Shuffle.

Mahlangu has not been playing at Orlando Pirates lately and is instead busy in the studio. The CD is expected in December.

“Jabu has always had a love for music, it was only by default that he ended up playing soccer,” said his manager and producer Malcolm X, the former controversial University of Witwatersrand student.

He also said that the wayward midfielder was not going to stop playing soccer.

Several players before Mahlangu have tried to make it in the world of music.

Former Bafana Bafana star Doctor “16 Valve” Khumalo started the trend when he recorded an album with radio personality Bob Mabena and the late Wendy Mseleku.

He was followed by former Bafana and Sundowns striker Daniel “Mambush” Mudau.

Then former Kaizer Chiefs PRO, Louis Tshakoane, who now works for Free State Stars as marketing manager, also recorded an album that flopped.

Next on the line was former Sundowns midfielder, Sipho Nunens who has been in limbo after his soccer career at top flight failed dismally. He recorded an album with kwaito singer Sbu.
